I’m afraid I probably don’t! Try Googling the boiler model name written on the front of your boiler along with your area. Finding a boiler engineer near you can be difficult. The thing is, being a boiler repair specialist is actually quite an insular job. I work alone and rarely come into contact with other technicians so I never get to know other technicians. People with boiler breakdowns call me, I visit them and fix it and go home again. I buy much of my stock on line nowadays so I don’t even bump into other technicians at the trade counter any longer so I’m afraid I probably don’t know a boiler engineer near you.
So given the above it is even quite difficult to suggest how to find genuine repair technicians. Most Gas Safe Registered plumbers are installers at heart rather than repairers so will instinctively try to sell you a new boiler if/when yours breaks rather than fix it. Others try to ‘ride two horses’, offering new boiler installations AND offering a repair service. Yet more are like me and only repair boilers. Advising how to find repair specialists is really quite difficult for me – I can only really suggest local advertising or the internet. Sorry! Googling for the name on the front of your boiler along with your location is one method of finding someone. If you have found a better way please post in the comments section below.
